1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, purchasing any product, booking any session, or engaging with Women Building Abroad (“WBA,” “we,” “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this site or purchase our offerings.
These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, purchasers, subscribers, and session participants.
2. Nature of Services
Women Building Abroad provides educational content, advisory insight, and experiential guidance related to building, relocating, and operating abroad.
WBA does not provide:

3. No Client, Agency, or Fiduciary Relationship
Your use of this site, purchase of any product, or participation in any session does not create a client relationship with Women Building Abroad.
Specifically:

WBA is not your agent, representative, or decision-maker

WBA does not act on your behalf, negotiate for you, or communicate with third parties for you
You are purchasing judgment, perspective, and experiential guidance — not representation or execution.
4. Digital Products & Access
Digital products (including guides, downloads, and gated resources) are delivered electronically.

Access is granted to the purchaser only

Sharing, reselling, copying, or distributing content without written permission is prohibited
Unauthorized sharing may result in immediate revocation of access without refund.
5. Sessions, Office Hours & Advisory Calls
Paid sessions (including office hours, consultations, and advisory calls):

Are non-refundable once scheduled

Must be used within the stated timeframe, if applicable

Are advisory in nature and limited to the scope described
Failure to attend a scheduled session without proper notice may result in forfeiture.
WBA reserves the right to decline, pause, or terminate a session if conduct is abusive, inappropriate, or misaligned with the nature of the services.
6. Recording & Media Policy
Recording
Participants may not record any WBA session, call, or advisory meeting without prior written consent.
WBA may record sessions for internal purposes such as:

Quality control

Training
-
Documentation
If recorded by WBA, content will not be shared publicly without explicit permission.
Unauthorized recording or redistribution is grounds for immediate termination of access without refund.
Media & Content Use
By participating in WBA offerings, you agree that you will not:

Reproduce or publish WBA materials as your own

Present WBA insight as professional advice given to you

Use WBA materials to train, coach, or advise others commercially
Public reference to WBA (talks, writing, media) requires attribution and permission.
7. No Guarantees
WBA makes no guarantees regarding:

Cost savings
-
Timelines
-
Permits or approvals
-
Contractor performance
-
Financial, personal, or business success
Results depend on factors outside WBA’s control, including third parties, laws, and user decisions.
8. Assumption of Risk
Building, investing, and operating abroad involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Financial loss

Regulatory changes

Construction delays

Cultural and language barriers
By engaging with WBA, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including text, downloads, frameworks, branding, and materials — is the intellectual property of Women Building Abroad.

Sell or sublicense materials

Use WBA content for commercial training or advisory purposes
Written permission is required for any use beyond personal reference.
10. Community Conduct
If participating in any WBA community space, you agree to:

Refrain from soliciting or poaching members
Violations may result in removal without refund.
11. Force Majeure
WBA shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or inability to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Severe weather

Earthquakes, floods, or landslides

Government actions or regulatory changes

Infrastructure failures (power, internet, transport)

Labor disruptions or strikes

Public health emergencies

Sessions may be rescheduled at WBA’s discretion

Access timelines may be reasonably extended

Refunds are not guaranteed, though good-faith accommodations may be offered
This reflects the realities of working abroad.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Women Building Abroad shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this site, products, or services.
Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Women Building Abroad from claims, losses, or damages arising from:
